I am also influenced by famous Scottish Master Artists such as George Melvin Rennie (1874 – 1953) and Joseph Farquharson (1846 – 1935). Emphasis is made on light and shade. I often include wildlife or human form in my work depicting the every day natural scenes which we all enjoy. A number of my paintings  will be on exhibition at Balmoral Castle under the banner of Upper Deeside Art Society of which I am a member. This will run from 1st April 2012 until the 31st of July 2012.   I also have a painting at Larks Gallery in Ballater called Falls of Feugh in mixed media and measuring approx 16” x 12” I am always happy to accept commissions - please contact me via email or telephone - details on the Contact Page jan mason landscapes Specialising In Oil and Acrylic Landscape Paintings Of Royal Deeside
